The WAVE Mobile Communicator by Motorola Solutions serves as a robust platform that transforms compatible devices into secure, broadband push-to-talk (PTT) handsets, facilitating unified team communication across diverse environments with network connectivity.

Recognized as one of the industry’s most advanced and adaptable workgroup communication solutions, WAVE enables smartphones, tablets, and PCs to function as effective collaboration tools. It seamlessly integrates with land mobile radio (LMR) systems to deliver secure voice communications, text messaging, location tracking, and presence indicators within a unified application interface.

The WAVE 5000 application is designed to operate on Motorola’s scalable WAVE 5000 System, which supports up to 5,000 active users and offers an enterprise-grade, feature-rich PTT environment. Its architecture allows full interoperability across different radio systems and extends system reach by leveraging broadband networks and various device types.

Supported radio integrations include:

<li>Motorola Solutions DIMETRA with wireline interface</li>
<li>Motorola ASTRO 25 and TETRA systems via MOTOBRIDGE wireless interface</li>
<li>Motorola MOTOTRBO with wireline interface</li>
<li>Other vendor P25 and non-P25 systems through the MOTOBRIDGE wireless interface</li>
</ul>
